tracking number not found?

So I emailed and received my tracking number, put it into both 17track and Royal Mail but it says that the number can’t be found?
What does that mean?

Try again tomorrow, the number may have been created but not posted yet.

I got a tracking number for an order today too, enter it on parcelforce because I think they’ve switched shipping again

Yeah I tried parcelforce but they just directed me back to Royal Mail,, I’ll try again tomorrow
